Hello! Welcome to APA for First Year University students, a comprehensive website that teaches how to use 7th Edition APA Formatting for First Year University students.

Basic APA format instructions include:

• Times New Roman 
• 12 point font
• double spacing
• 1 inch margins
• Do not ‘justify’ the text, the text is NOT flush to the right
• You will also need to go into ” layout” and change the before and after paragraph parameters to 0 (zero).

For those who exclusively use APA formatting, you may want to make these your default settings.
